ideas on self help books

By deadned

started reading some ’self books’ and found some interesting similarities between a few of them. because, apparently, this is the advice that works. and more interestingly this advice is universal, applying to not only your social problems at work, but your romantic, finical, and whatever else you can dream up. So here they are

Principle 1) YOU are the cause for all of the problems around you

Yes, somehow by doing X, or maybe not doing X, or heck, allowing X to happen – this is the cause of your suffering, and therefore it is ENTIRELY your fault.

Principle 2) you are capable of fixing your problem

You have the power! go you go! rah rah rah… Whatever your problem may be, it isn’t enough to kill you, so therefore, it makes you stronger/experienced/wiser/etc. no point flim flaming around, fix your problem. be it a broken leg, a bully or a swarm of bees chasing you down the road, YOU are capable of fixing it. and gosh darn it, you better do it quick! ’cause up next we have….

Principle 3) helping others!

what self help book wouldn’t be complete without telling you share your knowlage with others? and while your at it, sell them the book!
